Since 1996 it is inscribed in the World Heritage list of Unesco together with the Gardens, a marvellous example of rococo landscapre.
The complex however includes many more attractions: The Tiergarten, one the ancient zoos in Europe , the palm house with plant from rainforests from all continents and the imperial coach museum. Be sure to take the opportunity to walk up the hill behind the Palace and look down on the gardens for an amazing view of Vienna.
